What is Hi-Fish

Hi-Fish is Zurich’s first raver fashion label. It was founded in 1992 and is owned by designer Jenny Jost. Hi-Fish has been an internationally registered trademark since 1995.

Hi-Fish fashion consists mainly of T-shirts and accessories. The style is aimed at fans of raves and electronic music. Hi-Fish is always rebellious and promotes self-responsible consumer behaviour. Our products are produced sustainably in line with this lifestyle.

Label-History

  • 2022 Launch of the “Retro Collection” with the most popular Hi-Fish models from the 90’s
  • 2020 Launch of the “Hi-Fish Beer” in cooperation with “Appenzeller Bier”
  • 2019 Label relaunch with fashion show at the “Escher Wyss Club” in Zurich
  • 2004 Closure of the “Hi-Fish Shop” in Winterthur and creative break
  • 2003 “Hi-Fish Cup”, fashion battle at the “Bolero” in Winterthur
  • 2002 “Fashionation”, national party fashion competition at the Zurich National Museum
  • 1999 Opening of the “Hi-Fish Shop” in Winterthur

Back in the 90’s, Hi-Fish had a sales stand at all the major techno events in Switzerland, like Energie, Goliath, Futurescope, Garden of Eden and more.

  • 1998 Collection “Nightliner” with “büro destruct” from Bern / “Hi-Fish Nahkampf CD” with various artists
  • 1996 Hi-Fish Nahkampf collection “Combat Underwear” and fashion show at “2. Akt” in Zurich in co-operation with the “Nachtblatt” magazine
  • 1995 First fashion shows in the “Zürcher Börse” and in the “Palais Xtra” in Zurich / First webshop in co-operation with “Etoy”
  • 1994 First raver shirt production and start of international distribution
  • 1992 Sale of single pieces in “Jamarico-Musicland” in Zurich in co-operation with Maja Küng
